Three days without working again. That is good, in a world where it is necessary to work daily for survive. The classes in the university are a little difficult because I hate the statistics. But I am happy to return to the university again. I had forgotten the classic previous edginess to an exam or an interrogation. My teachers are people with years of experience and knowledge. I will surely finish being a good auditor at the end of this course of post-title.

My sister's health has improved ostensibly since she should be hospitalized urgently. She now is able to breathe for itself and the doctors have begun with the kinesiterapia treatment for her extremities. I wanted to thank to all who gave us words of good desires and prayers for her health. My heart tells " thanks to all" *hug*.

About my artistic work, I am writing again. I have published some "old literary things" in Deviant art, but now my current literary work begins. Ben's history and her encounter with Mur in a strange world will be the first history.
I hope to finish it completely before the year it finishes. I will publish the episodes one to one in Deviant Art, in Spanish and English. But I should to say you that I don't dominate English very well, then it can have errors in the translation that I wait you forgive me.

And about drawings, I will continue perfecting my techniques to illustrate my histories better. In this way, at the moment I have two pending art trades with two good artists, more some request.

Also I want to say thanks to Kimberly Blue Ravenfire because she drew a request that I requested to her some time ago. She made a wonderful work in her own style. She is a great artist that I admire a lot. Thank you Kim for your patience, your time and dedication to this beautiful work. * hug * Also, I should say that my character main GranDragon has found a girlfriend. She calls herself Angela Babalia and she is the creation of a good Chilean artist.</a> She is very sweet and tender. And she is in love of Gran. I seek her to be the main character of the history on my fursona GranDragon in a near future

Gran Dragon

One of the things that have always wanted to share with people is my liking to write and to relate histories.

In the high school frequently participated in literary competitions and I was also secretary in several groups of people with common interests where I participated, that which helped me to polish this liking.

I think that it is time that you that have always known me as designer, know me as writer.

First I will publish a short series of literary essays written in diverse times and with different topics. Then I will begin with my histories of fantasy, on my own characters and those of other artists.

Ah.. but don't worry... I will continue drawing. When the time allows me ( remember that I commented that it was fighting for a scholarship to study in the university... well, I won and now I am in fact studying ^^). In spite of the fact that my time is short, I will drawing

Well, I know that here there are not many people that read my post, because I have very few friends here. However I write this because I feel a deep necessity to make it.
First, I thank the words of many people's encouragement sincerely in D.A and F.A. I am going by difficult moments. And it is in fact in these moments of weakness and sadness when I find my strength in you. Thank you.
I thank to two people openly who constantly are worried about me. They are Kira and Dralam.
They have given me two beautiful drawings that I present here.

Yes to my childhood. That is what this new movie has achieved in me. To transport me to the past. I have just left the cinema room. Although it is essentially a movie of fantasy, the room was replete of mature people (25-35 years judging by the appearance). We all were remembering our past, the afternoons at home after the school, eating a rich bread with butter, something of milk perhaps and seeing those big robots flail in action in the screen of our TV. Transform of the 80's.
This movie, more than the spectacular special effects, more than the typical situations of a "foreing" movie, more than the typical and eternal fight among the well and the evil, it has been a trip to my childhood. To our childhood. I cannot say nothing else of the movie with objectivity, because has levied me the nostalgy and the memory. Although my mature mind is refused to believe in the fantasy, I have discovered that I never lost the capacity to enjoy the things like a child...again

In spite of the difficulties, this dragon is optimistic. I am nervous and concerned, but that had wakened up in me a great desire to draw and to draw... O_o

Sorry by write this... but... Well..the things don't go so quickly as I waited. Bureaucratic problems have put in danger the continuity of my studies. I didn't really wait this. I will only receive a definitive answer from the authorities on my scholarship the next week. Now only I have to wait.
Well guys... if you don't know nothing about me in one week, that means that everything goes well.
Really I need now all the good desires and positive thoughts of all my friends.

I never thought that I had so many friends. 
Yes. Thanks to all who kindly gave me greeting messages and good desires. I never thought me that had so many friends and friends in F.A and D.A. Two excellent places where for the first time I gave to know my art. Although I will be absent for long time of those galleries, that doesn't mean that I will stop to be creative. Live Journal will be the place where frequently I will write for those who want to know news on me. And perhaps, some  "dragoncito" appear drawn between my hours of classes and work appear here in LJ.. 
 
At the moment I am getting ready to begin my classes in the university, looking for to accommodate my working hours and my hours of classes. The Post-graduate course  allow me to acquire more knowledge about quality in the laboratory. Quality in the strictest sense in the word. We have the duty of granting a service of extreme quality to people, duty that it is imperative in the public system of health (different to the private system of health). Being ahead to what will be this course, converges with some colleagues to the 2ª INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF QUALITY BIO-RAD, where by means of video conference, we had the opportunity to know interesting aspects about the quality in the delivery of results in diverse laboratories of the world. To this video-conference many professionals of diverse countries they attended, from Mexico to Chile, including Spain. 
 

DRAGONES DESTINO DE FUEGO (Dragons, fire destination). This is the first movie of animation about dragons made in Latin America (specifically in Peru) fantastic movie whose thematic it is simple, but strong. The film have adventure, humor and even irony. And the characters are adorables and their voices very naturals. The design of the dragons is very anthro and very well done too.
The landscape corresponds the Andes mountains and the Peruvian forest. Congratulations to the creators of this amazing and cool film. More information here

This film is a Peruvian success. Alpamayo is the company producing Dragones, and with this one have achieved a real little gem. The quality of the film is really improved compared to there previous production. actually this is there second one, and they have gone a real long way in the aspects of story and quality production. The little kids and the adults as well will enjoy this really moving and amazing story. Dragones can rival any major studio animation production, even though it was made with a quarter of the budget that major studios provide to their productions, and in less time. Yeah... another session working with layers. Anyway the results are a bit better ( I think). Amost all the artist that I know they work with layers ( those that use Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro or another image sofware)...Following the sugerences of my friends.. I am using layers, but with Paint Shop Pro...(not Photoshop). PSP is a very nice sofware. I am working with this one since its version 7.0 (the last version is the 11st)  Well, I hope to finish soon...^_^

Well, this is my first video made in house. Here I show my space, my study room, etc..and pictures of friends. The soundtrack it called "Por costumbre", perfomanced by Solar, a good group of pop rock chilean. I know the percussionist of this group, so there are not problems (I hope je je)

This morning, a journalist called me, wondering where to find to Gran Dragon. I asked him: why do you look for it? and he responded me that he wanted to interview him for his newspaper.

Well -answer him- come to my house early tomorrow and Gran Dragón will be here.
-Fantastic -he responded me, - There I will be.

I should say that nervous, because Gran Dragon have a very special personality and hope that anything bad happens...

This is an extract of the interview  by Atilio Carranza, journalist, to Gran Dragon nine months ago. I hope to can aport you new ideas .

Let us begin with the principle: who is Demetrio Allied?
-I am a common guy that enjoys the simple things of the life. I like all the a lot related with the fantasy and the science fiction. In my day to day, I am a clinical laboratory's  worker.

From when you draw or you move in this world of the art and the fiction.
-To the eight years I drew my first cartoons. To the ten years I imagined my first histories of adventures. I competed in creativity with a friend of the neighborhood. To the eleven years I founded my own fictitious company of art, I simply called it D.A. Productions. To the thirteen years I won a small literary competition inside my school with the story "Sesion of magic". To the 16 years I draw my first dinosurs... a bronthosaur and a Styracosaurs (see picture). To the 17 or 18 years I only wrote my first histories and in my most creative friends' company.

Did you study art or drawing?
-No. Just I was for short time in a literary workshop of the school. I would like to be a profesional cartoonist.

Which are your inspiration sources?
The music, the movies, the books, the situations that I live and the art of other people.

Do you consider yourself an artist?
-Who can define the art?. If nobody can define it, how do I go that is if I am an artist or not? I prefer to say that I am a fan of the art.

What do you think of the artists in general?
-There are many classes of artists. All have their merits. To the only artist that I don't support it is who, aware of their talent, rejects to the other ones.

How is that?
-I think that there are very immature artists. Very talented people, but with little humility. The true artist is the one that surrenders with humility to her creation and the spectator.

But an artist is free of making what wants with their art. There are even people that says to draw for themselves and not to anothers.

-That is ridiculous. If they drew for themselves, I don't see the necessity to publish their works. Not that doesn't work this way. Each artist has a necessity, (maybe small) that , that her talent is recognized by others. Although they deny it, they draw for the other ones.

And you Demetrio, why or for who you draw?
-When I was a child I drew for imitation. When I was adolescent, I drew to have for amusing me and to amusing with other peoples. At the moment, I still make it for amusement but I have added a motivation more. To communicate, not just feelings and emotions, but also messages full with good vibrate.

Example?
-Well, for example, to my it worries the violence a lot (physics and psychic), the social inequality, the war, the atomic weapons, etc, and I include these topics in my drawings.

You mean that now your art has contained..
-Exactly

But that has made that your art is not popular.
-Yes, it is (laughs) If I wanted quickly to be popular in the community, I would draw yiff art.

And why  you don't make yiff art?. Does it bother you that art type?

-It doesn't bother me, but in my case, I believe to be in a stage of my life in that the hormones no longer control so much my brain. And I have discovered that there are more important things that to communicate that just my fever state (laughs). I am no longer the thirsty adolescent of sex that used to be.

But there are mature artists they make yiff art. I don't believe that this has relationship with the adolescence.
-I agree with you absolutely. Yes, and this is fine for the yiff art fans, but to it doesn't motivate me. I think that the beauty prunes it to find in any place, even the intimacy of the sexual act when the works are very well done. They are wonderful. But some simple lines with feminine breasts or pennis for my are not art. It is just a cheap pornography.

A lot of people would not agree with you, even that can bother a lot of people here.
-I know it, but I have told you that the art is something indefinable. What for my it is art, for other it can be garbage. But it is an opinion more and it is what I think.

How the artist like you they given to know?
-Well, you know, the media doesn't care a lot to diffuse the emergent culture. However, several independent publications that many young designers and artist maintain exist and they finance of their pocket. There are also encounters meetings and exhibitions of the material in galleries. In the local comic there are artists very very good that don't have financing for their projects. Lately a lot of people have opted to be devoted to the animation.

Personally I don't publish in magazines, for the above-mentioned. But lately we have discovered that internet is an excellent cabinet to show your works. In fact, I publish my works in the internet from beginnings of the 2004.

And how the experience has been?
-I would say that quite good. Not just you can show your work, but rather you exchange ideas with other artists, of many countries, of other cultures. In internet virtual galleries of art that are gratuitous exist.

Any example?
-Well, I am a lover of the fantastic art, for what accommodates me to expose in places such as Elfwood, Deviant Art, VCL, Furaffinity that are true communities with a long tradition in this art type. Some artists have their own web sites.

Which your artists are preferred in the world of the fantasy and the Sci-fi?
-Rowena, Luis Royo and Raul Martin. They are teachers, They are cool.

And what does it happen to the virtual communities? Which are the artists that more you admire in those communities?
-If you see my gallery in FA or DA, I have a big number of artist that I watch. They are the artist that I admire.

But, your "top ten"
-Wow.. a difficult question. All are excellents, but if you ask me, I can to respond you that I have a "Top five" list.
1) Donna Quinn, without doubts, she is a tremendous artist and very complete. I admire her a lot.
2) Kazuma, has a great handling of the corporal volumes.
3) Kitora, has a very special style that I fascinate.
4) Athus Nadorian. Their talent to draw bodies of animals, especially dragons are incredible.
5) Dragarta.. I love her style.

How do you receive the critics of other artists?
-With a lot of serenity and humility. I analyze them carefully and I extract the positive thing. Of course I always thank them.

And the negative criticize?
-The same way

Be received people's that has been offended with your work or insults of some type?
-Never

That you would make if they told you that your work is only garbage?

T-hat seems a question of psychological test (laughs). It depends on who tells it to me. If an artist much better than me tell me this, I would agree without him I would tell him, "hey, you are right". But if somebody tells it to me that never in his life has drawn or just he knows how to draw lines and circles, I send it to the conchesu... there same. (Note: I dont know how to say this in english)

And how you are when criticizing or to say on work of the other people?
-I attempt of being objective.

Has it been bothered the artists by your critics?
-Yes, but when I feel that I have made a mistake with somebody, I apologize. The artists are usually very sensitive.

And are you a sensitive artist?
4210-Yes, but my sensibility is referred to capture the situations of injustice and suffering that exist in the world. If you see my art, I have a tendency to draw characters melting in a tender hug, chatting, consoling others. My characters are not violent. I want to communicate peace, and friendship. More than violence or just sex. The world needs these things.
